What is Golaazo?

Golaazo is a daily football guessing game built for the 2026 FIFA World Cup (hosted by the USA, Mexico and Canada). Every day, the game picks a secret player from the 540+ footballers across all 48 qualified nations, and your job is to guess who it is — using only five hints.

Think of it as the Wordle of football: no letters, but attributes. Each guess tells you whether you’re getting closer by country, league, position, age, and shirt number.

How to play — the 5 hints

1. Country — lights up if it’s from the same confederation (UEFA, CONMEBOL, CAF, AFC, CONCACAF, OFC).
2. League — Premier League, La Liga, Serie A, MLS, Bundesliga, Saudi Pro League, and many more.
3. Position — goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, forward.
4. Age — is it a rising teen like Yamal or a seasoned veteran like Modrić?
5. Shirt number — often the final confirmation.

You get 8 attempts. Nail it and you earn a sticker card of that player — dropped in your digital album with a randomised rarity (normal, holographic, or gold).
